  • Saturday Training Ride: LGBRC members and guests/prospective members welcome! Will von Kaenel is the Saturday Ride Coordinator. Email Will: wvonkaenel@gmail.com Information about the Saturday Ride is posted on the Facebook Page.  'Like' the FB to be updated.  The ride is posted as an Event usually Wednesday or Thursday

    The Saturday Training Ride is a club training ride which can accommodate riders of all levels and training goals.  Interested in the club or the ride?  Just drop in on the ride start!

    The ride starts at Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company (101 W. Main Street, LG). Roll-out is at 8:30 AM, and returns generally about 12-2.  Parking immediately around LGCRC is limited to 2 hours, but  0.2 miles down the street around Summit Bicycles (111 E. Main Street), parking is available all day.

    The ride takes varied routes based on participant consensus and interest, to reflect the wide variety of routes available from LG.

    • The Default Ride  a well-honed 57 mile loop along McKean Road to Watsonville Road and Uvas Reservoir in Morgan Hill, featuring rollers, scenery and very few traffic stops.  

    • Variations on the Default Ride may include:
    the Stevens Canyon loop, which may include a climb of Montebello, A trip to the beach to Capitola.   Sometimes we ride up the Los Gatos Creek Trail to Lexington. Another variation: Climb Highway 9, the return via the LG Creek Trail



  • Sunday AM Ride: Prospective Members Welcome.
    Assembles at approximately 8:30, leaves at approximately 8:45 a.m. If you are interested in joining LGBRC, we welcome you to try us out by joining us for our Sunday Ride. This ride leaves from Starbucks in Los Altos in the Los Altos El Rancho shopping center at the corner of Foothill Expressway and Springer, near Andronico's market. Route is determined by group consensus prior to departure. (If driving, park near gas station.)
