Volunteer Signup

Please note if you sign up to be a Lead worker: The Lead is the person held responsible for all of the actions of that group and will communicate directly with the course/race directors. These leads must attend the meeting before the Cats Hill Race to coordinate the logistics and get briefed on upcoming challenges and resolutions. All leads must ensure they have their equipment and materials loaded on the truck/trailer by noon on Friday. All leads also need to ensure that their assigned group does proper tear-down and clean-up of their respective areas.

  • If you are a returning user and have not changed your email address since last year, click on 'returning user'. If you forgot your password, one will be emailed to you at your request. If your email has changed, log in with your old email, then click Your Account -> Change email/password.

  • New users: Create a new user account by entering your full name, email address and password. Click on Create New Account. The main event menu will be displayed and you will see the sign up dates for Cat's Hill including the current number of positions available on each day.

  • Click on the day you are interested in. The complete list of positions and time slots will be displayed for that day. If there is additional information available about a position an information icon will appear to the right of the position name. Please review it before signing up.

  • Select a position and insert your name by clicking on the words, "Sign up". Your name will automatically be added to the table and any other positions that occur during the same time will no longer be available to you for sign up.

  • Important Volunteer Note: All volunteers should check in at the Volunteer Booth located near the Start/Finish line at least ten minutes prior to the designated start time at the volunteer booth to receive instructions. (The only exception is the truck driver and the early morning road closure crew.) Be sure you get two tickets: one for your free lunch and one for your free t-shirt. Claim your T-shirt ASAP as sizes run out by mid-day.
  • If you plan to race Cat's Hill and you volunteer to work, you may race for free by being reimbursed for your race fee. First, sign up to race on Sportsbaseonline. Pay with your Credit Card. After race day (provided you have fulfilled your work committment) you will be sent a check to cover race entry fees.
