Brian joined Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club in 2018 as a mountain bike racer, category 1/2. He is also a Cat's Hill race volunteer.

When asked how he first got into mountain bike racing, he responded, "I first started riding mountain bikes when I was 9 years old and began racing shortly there after. I continued racing cross-country and downhill events until I was 16 years old when I stopped to focus on other sports and school. I continued to ride recreationally during my time away from the sport. Now that I have graduated college, I have decided to start racing downhill and enduro mountain bike events."

He adds, "My greatest result so far was also my most recent accomplishment; placing 3rd out of 23 in the Sport 18-29 category at first round of the California Enduro Series at Toro Park in Salinas, California."
In addition to his interest in bike racing? "I am a recent graduate of San José State University in Mechanical Engineering."

Brian adds, "I believe that the most important parts of racing are meeting new people, riding in interesting locations, and having fun."
