Alan joined LGBRC in 2009 as a Cat 4 racer. He races both Road and Crits.

We asked him what first attracted him to racing. He responded, " I have been riding for almost 20 years.  My first race was in 1997.  I became involved in cycling with a few friends at work.  We started riding centuries together and one thing led to another."

When asked what he considers his greatest cyclng achievement so far, he responded, "Perhaps the Davis Double in around 11 Hours"

We asked him what he does when he's not riding a bike. He answered, "Besides Cycling, I have two great kids.   I am on the Cupertino Bicycle and Pedestrian Commission.  I enjoy play softball, Golf, and skiiing.  By day I am a boring tech Program Manager."
