Dave Sloan

Dave Sloan joined LGBRC in 2008. He emphasizes Mountain Biking. When we asked him how he got started in Mountain Biking Dave says , "I started mountain biking up near Skyline as early as 1990.  I got into singlespeed mountain biking and raced for a few years.  For a while I was a regular Noon rider.  More recently, I do mostly casual road roads and fixed gear riding on "the loop."  I try to prepare for the SeaOtter Classic XC singlespeed, and the Deathride century every year. "

His most notable achievement so far is in Cross. He says, "I once got 5th in the singlespeed XC category at SeaOtter Classic.   Every Deathride finish is an achievement.  I'm hoping to add doing the Solvang century on a fixed gear to the list this year."
