Josie is a Cat 3 racer on road, time trial and crit. She joined LGBRC in 2007.

What attracted Josie to cycling? "I became involved in cycling primarily through my college's cycling club (which introduced me to racing at the collegiate level) but also through my father's prodding, who is also an avid cyclist."

Josie continues, "I have just completed an undergraduate degree in architecture at UC Berkeley but am continuing with coursework for the summer."

She adds, "My goal is to gain as much racing knowledge and experience as I can. I like that racing not only tests one's physical strength, but also one's confidence and smarts (among other things). It pushes you on all levels! Now that I'm out of school, I look forward to being able to commit more time to cycling and to the LGBRC for next season!"
