Vance Sprock

Vance is a Masters racer, specializing in track. When asked what started him in cycling, he says, "I started riding while at Davis High School as training for the Davis Double Century. Rode it for the first time in 1974, and finished in 11:47 on my trusty Peugeot U08. I was hooked!" "

His greatest cycling achievement? "Winning the bronze in the Junior Road Nationals, taking 4th at Junior Cyclo Cross Nationals both in 1976. Placing 2nd in the 1982 Davis Double Century, with a time of 8:46 (back when they kept time). "

He adds, "I really enjoy riding and racing for the past 30 years. I have a passion for bikes and the sport. I bought myself a job, I own Cupertino Bike Shop. "
