Lisa is a Category 2 racer who joined LGBRC
in 2006. Her emphasis is Road.
When asked what first attracted her to cycling,
she replies, "
I was quickly
bitten by the racing bug after watching a friend
race at the Cherry Pie criterium in 2005. Copperopolis
was my first race and I was sore for two weeks!"
She considers her most memorable achievement to
be taking first place in the Bay Area Women's
Cycling Series Cat 3 individual competition, and
completing the Mt. Shasta Summit Super Century
in 2004: "137 miles and 16,500 feet of painful
climbing."
Off the bike, she is an accountant for her family's
wholesale food products company. She says, "I enjoy
camping and hiking in the Sierras and spending
time with my two dogs."
She adds, "I am really looking
forward to being apart of the Easton/Specialized
women's team this year, as well as helping out
with LGBRC's two great races, Cat's Hill Classic
and the Timpani Criterium."
