Lisa writes, " I discovered bike racing
only after searching for a way to ride my bike
in the company of others. My ten mile commute
from BART to work and ten miles back to BART at
the end of the day was about all I was doing in
'07. I searched around for a club to join, and
after getting some emails from Barry, I knew LGBRC
was the club for me."
"I didn't intend to race, but thought it would
be fun to watch others. I tried a time trial,
and I was hooked. I am still in learning mode,
and I am looking forward to whatever comes next.
This year I intend to try some new things, stretch
my wings a bit, and also give back to the club
that give me so much. I am proud of the fact that
the club had faith enough in me to be the race
director at Cat's Hill. I am hoping to do an even
better job with next year's race!"
"Off the bike I am a Sales Operations Manager
for a small but amazing software company in Palo
Alto. "

for her outstanding job as Cat's Hill Race Director
for 2008.
