April joined LGBRC in 2011 as a cat 1-2 crit, road and TT racer.

She says, "I've been riding bikes since I was 3 years old. I got my first road bike for a sprint triathlon in 2007 and fell in love with riding at high speeds on skinny tires. The local guys told me about racing and I showed up for a race near home in Sonora- the infamous Wards Ferry race. I had no idea what I was getting in to that day, but I keep coming back for more!"

"I'm a mother of two boys, Forest and River. Married to my wonderful husband, Marc I live in the small Sierra mountain town of Hathaway Pines. To help support my racing habit I am a registered nurse."
