• The Los Gatos Bicycle Racing Club/SugarCRM Women's Category 4 Team won the Bay Area Women's point series! Samantha Michel and Lucia Mokres placed 3rd and 4th in the Women's Category 3 individual standings, respectively.
  Carole Sykes, Kerry Stivaletti, Carmen Elliott, and Rikke Preisler placed 5th, 7th, 8th, and 9th in Women's Category 4 individual standings, respectively.

• Congratulations to Réne Baker and to Lucia Mokres for their respective upgrades to Cat. 3 and Cat 2. Way to go, Ladies!
  
  
• Congratulations to Filip Vanacht for his upgrade to Cat. 1. He joined the LGBRC as a Cat 5 in 2006, only 3 years ago. The team is proud to have supported him in his rapid ascent through Categories 5, 4, 3 and 2 to Cat 1!

Lisa writes, "Thank you SugarCRM/LGBRC members for making the Sugar CRM Cat’s Hill Classic 2009 one of our best ever. A hearty thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters, friends and families for making this race a success. We're proud of all our members who raced and we  send our best wishes to Eric Balfus and Henry Kramer as they recover from the final laps of the day. We wish Webcor member Ashleigh Jackson a speedy recovery. Members, please take a few moments of your busy day to complete a questionnaire about Cat’s Hill, so we can make 2010 even better."
  
  
• (March, 2009) Club of the Year commemorative plaque was presented to LGBRC on March 16 at the Town Council meeting in LG City Chambers at 7:00 p.m. Those in attendance were Liza Rachetto, Holly Roberts, Erin Dunn, Dana Ambrisko, Doug Ambrisko, Ashley Ambrisko, Mary-Ellen Ash, Lucia Mokres, Philo Wells, Peter Wells, Linda Wells who favored the Town Council with the opening Star Spangled Banner, Aldene and Barry Gordon.
